Thursday Treasures! Prompt!

Hello hello hello!

This weeks Thursday Treasures is a prompt … And one I hope you will be inspired by…

One of my favourite Disney animated films has to be Monsters Inc. I love the fluffiness of sully and the cuteness of Boo. So I knew that this would be the focus of the picture to scrap for this theme! What’s more this is in keeping with this weeks “finish it off” challenge as I was using the kits from Helen’s class last week. I also followed one of the samples she had provided… Although as usual went a little bit different!

So here was Helen’s inspiration …

I used the Confetti Celebrations DSP and took her sketch and made this…

I kept with Helen’s theme of doodling and using the circles too. For most of the doodling, and the journaling I used the white gel pen … I love this pen … With just a few bits of DSP with some black doodling, and the outline of the full page. I added the candi’s in coordinating colours, and some chevrons and arrow which I punched out using Helen’s chevron & What’s Up punches. I also used an punch of mine I’ve had for ages to punch the two strips of cardstock going vertically down the page to add some interest.

My favourite part of this layout however is the title which I made using lots of different stickers, letter tiles, and some punched words. Love the look of this type of title!

Happy crafting!

Catherine

  1. I absolutely love your layout. The doodling is fab, the slot punch showing the paper behind the card is brilliant, and the title in different fonts fits the feel of the page perfectly. Love it 😀
