Today I have not managed any scrapping despite my intentions to fit some time in finishing off projects, so this week I actually have a few layouts to share all of which are works in progress!
So this weeks prompt is…
In some ways it gives me a chance to explain what I do when scrapping. All of these layouts are using the papers and bits and pieces Helen provided at the last class. I am following her sketches to one degree or another, but at various stages on each of them.
These papers are lovely and remind me of folk art. There are plenty of arrow embellishments to add around the pages, and some fun little speech bubbles.
Now back to my process. Although I like to get pages finished, sometimes I like to just rest the pages and come back to them to see if I am happy with the layout and design. This way I haven’t stuck anything down and it can be moved if I decide I don’t like something. Of course there is a danger that they never get finished this way … But usually I manage to get them finished in a reasonably quick time when I manage to sit down and do it. Just a shame today wasn’t the day! So this weeks Thursday Treasures has to be to get on with these works in progress before next week.
