Hi there! It’s Monday again! And what’s more it is bank holiday Monday so hope you have had a nice restful day. We have just got back from a fabulous long weekend with friends at Centre Parcs. As much as it was fun and a terrific holiday, I am now absolutely shattered so the hubby and I are allowing the princess to zone out in front of the tv whilst we have a little lie down. Fortunately I had prepared this post in advance so don’t have to interrupt the resting! Ha ha!
This week I thought I would start on the new In colors 2014-16 which came out a while ago but haven’t really played with much. My first choice had to be the gorgeous (My favourite!)…
I went for a clean and simple type card… And used my favourite Stamp Darcy designed for Paperartsy…
I love the swirly hearts and love how they look when using the ink and water brush to colour them in. It means the ink colours go together but you can get some depth to the shape. Shows how varied this colour can be too! I also chose the sentiment Darcy had in her stamp set as it spoke to me at that point! Lovely!
Hoping as we are home from hols a couple of days early, as my dear sister we should have been visiting for a few days is poorly, I might get some crafting time in … And of course have to order all the photos I took from our hols. I didn’t take too many this time as we were all too busy being active to stop for pics. Ah well, will instead document the holiday in writing perhaps?
