Roald Dahl

Childhood memories…

… Are filled with Roald Dahl. And now I am reading the books with the princess, and love them still!

So when c and c had this paper crafting kit I had to get it! Then when it arrived I lovingly stroked everything but had no idea what to do with it all! Finally I have started to play and made a few cards with the ready made card blanks and some bits and pieces in the kit and using the stamps I got for my birthday!

Here are the first few featuring The Enormous Crocodile and Fantastic Mr Fox. Fab!

Used Inktense pencils to colour the stamped images, some weathered wood distress ink for blending edges and die cut some circles from the papers and the stamped images to break up the cards into different shapes. Also added a few card candi which seemed to work with the colours on the cards.

Have also started on some Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ones too… And next up is the fabulous BFG which is my favourite!

Happy crafting!

Catherine
