Happy Monday! Time to start this week off with something colourful!
And what better than a BRIGHT colour…
I love this zingy colour ! It always makes me think of summer! So I decided on some summery paper to help show it off!
Gingham Garden from last years catalogue is such a bright and cheery paper. Apart from a bit of scrapping I have rarely used it so it was nice to use both side of this one sheet on this card. The Daffodil Delight for the dress on the Gorjuss girl and bottom mat, and the flowery mixed side for the main background.
I also used some Spellbinders dies for the panel behind the girl, and a docrafts one for the little label.
For a change when using this kind of stamp I didn’t grab my Promarkers and instead used the SU markers. As a result, less blending, but as the main item was the paper pieced dress I don’t think it looks too bad.
I added a little lemon rose bud and some Island Indigo bakers twine. Cute! Hope you liked my zingy card?
