Last day of advent, last festive crafty project to share for 2014!
Today’s little piece of festive fun is the card I made for the hubby! It was actually the last card I made!
I used a Kraft card blank in 8×8 size, and some Nitwit papers from a magazine from a few years ago, which I distressed at the edges and inked using the Soft Suede ink.
I then created a wreath using the holly leaf stamps the lovely Darcy designed for PaperArtsy. I stamped them out using the Mossy Meadow and then added colour using a selection of green inks and a waterbrush. Then I had to fussy cut them all out and added some shaping as I went.
I then drew around a drinks coaster to create the circle and stuck them all down. I then did another circle and onto this I stamped the hanging baubles. This I fixed so it was inside the wreath.
I then chose the 25 hanging calendar from an old stamp set I think Dyan designed. I stamped and cut this out and fixed it on too. Then I added it all to the front of the card. Inside the card I stamped all round the outside the holly leaves in the different colour greens and the Soft Suede and then added a stamped sentiment too.
So this is it… My final post before the big day tomorrow so I guess all I need to do is wish you a fabulous Christmas however you celebrate!
