Designer Series Paper

Manners cost very little and mean so very much

I am a big believer in teaching my daughter to be grateful, and sometimes it is quite challenging as I know she is quite a spoilt child in many ways. But a simple way is to make thank you cards for family and friends who bought her presents at Christmas and her birthday. Now admittedly we don’t always make one for everyone, but we usually try to get those done who we will see in the weeks following Christmas. Yesterday we managed to make three for the people we are seeing today (my parents, auntie and cousin). When I say we… She made hers and I made mine! Important to practice what I preach after all!

So here are my little cards…

I used paper from the scraps box, a stamp from a magazine and some simple inking to make these three cards. I finished off the envelope with the same stamp (omitting the box around the flower) stamped next to where I wrote the name in colours similar to that found in the background paper. Simple, effective and all made with gratefulness in mind!

Happy crafting!
