Thought I would quickly show you the card I made for the hubby for valentines… I was actually prepared for once and made this a couple of weeks ago. Not often I remember and craft ahead of time when it’s something I have to make!
Anyway… Used my favourite stamps… Darcy designed ones! And created this vibrant but also clean and simple (ish) card with an artsy twist!
I used paint to add the colour using an old credit card to apply it and then lots of little alpha stamps for the sentiment.
Love how it came out. Thanks Darcy for creating my perfect go to stamps for masculine cards!
I am sharing this as part of the Paperartsy challenge “paint” too. This is my new thing… Using paint and not just plumping for ink every time… After all it is the paint that adds the texture on the front panel as the shades are different dependent on the scrapes. I love the canvas Sue made for the challenge and although my card is nothing like… It is the scraping of the paint colour to provide the stamped hearts that was inspired by this canvas…. Just need to get back to some canvases… Not done one for a while!
