Today I have two cards to blog about… A “his and her” type of thing! These are cards I made for my parents stash of cards and there is one more feminine in colour etc, and the other more suited to a male recipient. I say this lightly as I am always preaching to my daughter that all colours are for all genders but you know it is difficult to give a man a pink card unless you are absolutely sure he won’t be offended!
So I took the same stamp set… Happy Hour… And created these two fun cards using the fabulous Brushos!
I used just one colour brusho for this (violet I think) and then edged the panel in black, stamped the image and sentiments in black and added lots of layers, including a glittered piece of cardstock, and then it is on a pink card blank I made myself.
The next one is a similar theme…
This time I added two colours of Brusho (yellow and turquoise I think). Then I stamped the glasses in Daffodil delight and attempting Turquoise and did the background stamping in black. This time I kept to one layer, a piece of fab blue Mirri card, and created and sticky up type of card.
So my his and her type cards using similar products and both look so different, but equally fab!
