Christmas card making with my friends

Tonight I have invited some of my closest friends over to make christmas cards. Nothing new there… except these three friends are not usually crafters.  So how we will get on I have no idea!  I am planning on three large cards which may be ambitious in the time we have… but we will try to get there I am sure!

I intend to share the cards over the next few nights… Starting with this one… A lesson in masking and inking!

Here is a pic of my sample…

I used Clarity frame masks and Woodware stamps to get the topper image. In this sample I used Papermania patterned paper, but on the night the girls get to play with a different paper.

Quite a challenging amount of stamping and masking and colouring for people who have never crafted before. Gulp! Fingers crossed!

Happy crafting!

Well I have to say I am proud teacher… They did amazingly well and each put their own spin on their artwork. Love them all!

Caroline’s oval scene looks so serene.

Clare’s snowdrifts look fab.

Gwen created fabulous snowy mountains.

So so proud! And you will have to wait and see what else they did for the next two nights!

What’s more they want to do more… well with this talent they are showing I’m not surprised! X
