Wishes for my auntie

My lovely auntie Margaret had a hip replacement op on Thursday. She’s doing really well and I managed to see her for a quick visit to the hospital yesterday. I made her a card to brighten her day and remind her she is loved.

Watercolour wings (my go to stamp set of the moment) was the stamp of choice… but a different from the card I shared yesterday because of the different colour choice.

Although bright I kept the colours more tonal rather than contrasting like the Birthday card I shared yesterday.  I also added a bit more glitter and the sentiment from Butterfly basics (I love the font of the wishes).

I also decorated the envelope… love the watercolour wash…. what a fab way to get colour onto the envelope! And then the smaller butterflies stamped in similar colours but not done the same … love how each butterfly can look different with each color combination.

So here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for my auntie and less pain than she’s had for the past year as a result!

Happy crafting!
