So this year I have decided to challenge myself to make a set of cards, scrapbook page or journal layout using each of my stamp sets as I know I have some I rarely use!
This stamp set is one I wanted immediately on seeing it but have hardly used at all… so thought it was time to get it out and have a go. Here I present Work of Art stamps.
My first thought was to make something quite graphic so I grabbed the black card blanks and some scraps of coloured cardstock and black ink.
I stamped the sentiment first and then stamped the falling hearts around it. I corner rounded two corners and stuck it down. Then decided it needed some bling… so gold stickles came out to play.
Inside the card and envelope needed doing too, so chose the colour of the cardstock and made each of them like this…
Not exactly difficult cards … perfectly simple actually. I am still undecided about the value of these stamps but going to stick with them for the moment and see if inspiration strikes again when I grab them next time.
