So this year I have decided to challenge myself to make a set of cards, scrapbook page or journal layout using each of my stamp sets as I know I have some I rarely use!
This week the stamp set that took my fancy to play with was A Happy Thing which was a saleabration set from last year. I think I have only used it two or three times so far as although I love the art work of the stamps I don’t often want to use it.
So first of all I tried with the Bird stamp.
I grabbed some pieces of paper and cardstock from the desk (left over from a pocket page I finished a couple of weeks ago and not yet tidied up) and some embellishment bits and pieces and made the above cards. I coloured the Bird using inks and a water brush to keep the image soft.
I added the Bird to the envelope too.
So what do you think?
Again these are lovely stamps but not sure I am that drawn to them. Maybe when I try with the lemon from the set I may feel differently?
Happy crafting!

Another entry into the Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challenge
Using up scraps is so satisfying – especially when it makes a lovely creation like this. I love these type of ‘real natural’ stamps hugs Judith x
