So this year I have decided to challenge myself to make a set of cards, scrapbook page or journal layout using each of my stamp sets as I know I have some I rarely use!
This week I have been trying to use the Hello Doily stamp. I managed to use it again to make this card. The card started as a Brusho experiment with a stencil.
This was using a Clarity stencil and the black brusho powder to create this amazing background.
I did this several weeks ago and found it on the desk so decided to grab the Hello Doily stamp and gold embossing powder to make it bling!
After heat embossing the image I then decided it needed some texture and some dimension. I added a strip of black ribbon, a kraft cardstock die cut panel and the flowers. The sentiment I also embossed with the gold.
I quite like how the gold worked with the busy brusho background and then the plain die cut. A different but quite cool anniversary card.
Still undecided about this stamp though. I do like it but can’t see me grabbing it too many times. Ho hum! Think for now it will stay and be re – evaluated at another point.
Happy crafting!

Lovely card, I’ve learnt never to throw anything good away, you just never know when you’ll need it 😀
