These last few weeks have been all about my princess. Her 10th birthday, a trip to Centre Parcs and today her grade 1 keyboard exam. Not sure who is more nervous about it! Anyway I made her a card from me and the hubby to express our pride in her hard work preparing for the exam. The results don’t matter, just seeing her work hard and enjoy playing has made it worthwhile. Hopefully she will pass though as I would hate for her to be disappointed.
Anyways on with the card…
I chose some paper from the stash given me recently by my friend and the same for the cardstock. The die cut winged heart is a Tim Holtz die my friend Kathie left at my house and this is the first time I’ve used it… isn’t it lush?
I found an alpha I thought worked for the sentiment and stamped it in two different coloured blues. Then I added some blue stickles to the crown as a bit of bling.
As my daughter LOVES blue… a perfect card for her!
