This week I have been playing with the Dictionary background stamp. On Sunday I shared a journal page where I had used the stamp three times. Here I have a set of cards using the stamp to its full effect as a background stamp.
I picked out some dsp with a subtle grey circle pattern and onto this I stamped the entire stamp using a grey ink. I then cut the panel out so there was just a small border. Then I used the Clarity bubbles stencil to add the circles in Lost Lagoon and Bermuda Bay. I then edged the panel with the grey. I mounted this on a piece of striped dsp in the same subtle grey but edged this with the stencil brushes and the coloured ink as well as the grey ink.
One I made much darker than the other.
For the focal point I added the typewriter from Tap Tap Tap set using a Versamark ink and black embossing detail powder. I also stamped it again on white paper so I could cut out the sheet of paper as a piece of contrast for the typing to show up on. I then used the tap stamp to do the border.
Love how these came out. Perfect partners these two stamp sets. Love them both. They are not going anywhere!
Happy crafting!
