Already I can blog about September’s ATC swap because I made these in no time at all and popped them in the post to the recipient.
The theme for this month is texture.
This first ATC has various paints wiped and brushed in the background which is collaged onto the Base white card. Over this I added some Glitter washi tape. Next I used some grey coloured texture paste through a Tim Holtz stencil. Once this was dry I added the spotty washi tape. Then I stamped the JoFy flower and coloured it using both paint pens and fresco paints. The title is using the Tim Holtz stickers. I then went to town with the paint line painters from Derwent. I love these.
This second ATC started in much the same way with brushed off paints on the paper which was then collaged to the Base card. This time I chose a feather theme and a transparent glossy texture gel. The feathers stamped in the background are Sheena Douglass’ stamps and then added a paper clay embellishment I made and painted with silver paint.
I had used the same stencil as last time, but this time with the clear texture gel.
I also used a metallic gel pen for highlights and doodles.
Love both of these. Looking forward to next months already.
