DT: Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challenge

The start of November has come quickly that’s for sure. So it’s time for another Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challenge design team contribution.
I made quite a few actually but only going to share four with you today. I used the paper and topper pack that came with Making Cards magazine some time ago.

I cut out the images and then layered up the coordinating papers.  I edged everything with the Watering Can archival (slightly softer feel than using black) and then started layering them up. I used the Emma Godfrey Paperartsy sentiments as I like the graphic feel to them type font and embossed the sentiments to give them a lovely black gloss finish.

All of these are on 8 x 8 card blanks which really give a lovely frame to the topper.

Struggle with anniversary cards normally but these are super simple and such lovely images.

By the time I finished the crafty session I had made about 14 cards…. that was a lot of inking edges I can tell you!

Will share the others in the coming weeks. Now pop over to the Craftyhazelnuts blog and see what everyone else has been upto with their patterned paper stash.

Happy crafting!
