Distress oxide ink

Countdown to Christmas ATCs pt 2

Another few Christmas ATCs to share today…

All of them started with a similar background and using similar stamps but I used some different colour cardstock to mount them and different colours of ink to finish them off.

The background is using my trusty distress oxides.  This time I used twisted Citron, cracked pistachio and peeled paint to make this fun watery and chalky looking background.

On all of them I added the baubles using the frayed burlap ink and let them dry.

On this one I chose a dark green cardstock and then Mossy Meadow ink to edge and stamp the sentiment.

The next two I chose a light pink base and a bright pink (melon mambo) ink for edging and the sentiment.

These final two I chose the bright pink base cardstock and then the dark purple ink (think it was fresh fig) to edge and stamp the sentiment.

I love the way each colour combination brings a different feel to the card and the way the ink bled on some to cover more of the edges and make it a more natural edge in keeping with the watery backgrounds.

On all of them I added some bling using dazzling diamonds on the baubles. Of course Christmas is never complete without a bit of bling!

Happy crafting!
