Merry Christmas!

Posted by

I have my final two cards to share today… and as per usual I am last minute Annie and only made them last night!  And yet they are for the loves of my life… the hubby and princess.

So both of them got painty cards but both individually designed.

For the hubby trees feature … but also tons and tons of glimmer cardstock so it is super sparkly.

Lots of layers of cokour and pattern going on with embossing and stencilling and stamping. Plus had to add purple as one of his favourite colours and teamed with the real which is one of mine.

Added dots with a sharpie pen to add some details and keep the background nice and grungey!

And the princess got a shimmery card with lots of iridescent texture paste.  I kept the colour scheme to blues and greens and added vellum and glimmer cardstock die cut foliage and popped these under the main sentiment and then sequin trim on the top and bottom of the panel and a bow to finish off.

I love how the texture paste makes you want to feel the card. And those Tim Holtz die cuts are fabulous.

Won’t be blogging for a couple of days and then will do an end of year round up no doubt before blogging in earnest again next year!

So all that I need to do now is relax and enjoy the festivities and wish you a very merry Christmas, full of love and joy!

Merry Christmas and happy crafting!
