Art Alchemy paints, Distress oxide ink, fresco finish paints, Paperartsy, Gelli Plate

My favourites of 2017 pt 3

Back again with another list of favourites.  Today it is all about products that I have loved using this year!

Of course 2017 is the year of distress oxide inks… wow these really are a game changer for the crafting world and I am in love with them!

I did a video on them when I first got them and that had a stupid amount of views etc…. Here it is! Never did I think I would ever have a video with more than 10 views never mind 1.7k!!!

Anyway I love my distress oxides and here are a selection of the projects I made using them this year!

Just love the variety of effects you can get with these inks!

Next product I have loved using is my gelli plates… especially towards the end of the year… with both ink and paint.

Again… some of the projects where the gelli plate features…

Another product I’ve loved since I got it is my stamp platform. It makes stamping so much more fool proof… no more blotchy or patchy stamping and instead beautifully bold stamping.  No pics for this but it did deserve a mention.

Paint remains in my favourites list… in particular the Paperartsy fresco finish paints and the Finnabair Art Alchemy paints. I just adore both of these brands for different reasons. The fresco finish paints are perfect for every project and layer wonderfully. Love the fact that they have both opaque and transluscent paints. The art alchemy paints are great for adding special sparkle or shimmer. I love the sparks paints in particular.

Here are some painty projects from this year…

Finally I must mention my Wink of Stella pen and embossing. Both of these have featured heavily this year although not always easy to show on pics. I have to say my heat tool has never had this much work to do in previous years but it is constantly at my side now. And the wink of Stella makes everything sparkle so beautifully so I had to mention it!

So this is my main product favourites of 2017!

I have one more list to share with you so pop back tomorrow for another run down on my favourites of this year!

Happy crafting!

Catherine
