The theme for this month’s ATC swap at Artful ATCs is rabbits and I chose to be a little creative in my interpretation and do one hare ATC and one rabbit ATC.
I used scraps of green patterned paper to create hills and then used my sewing machine to adhered them together and define them.
Then I added some distress oxide with a blending tool to add some more defintion.
The little rabbits were left from the Making Cards magazine papers that I used for theEaster cards I shared a few days ago.
The hare is a Sheena Douglass stamp that I haven’t used before and have had it in the stash waiting for the perfect moment to use it.
I stamped it straight onto the mountboard ATC using archival ink in Sepia. Then I got out the Brusho to colour the hare using the light and dark brown colours.
I finished it off with a little sprinkle of the light brown brusho so some of the separate colour crystals dilute as individual colours.
Love how this came out. And loved playing with brushos again.
So these were my swaps for April.
Happy crafting!
Catherine
Great interpretation. Innovative use of the last of your rabbits papers. Love ’em both
