A true gent…
Bring me sunshine…
For both of these I used printed images to finish off which links them but some different other techniques.
A true gent… I added patterned paper to a piece of mountboard cut to size and then added black gesso to the edges. Whilst it was drying I rubbed some foil on it and it stuck in a few places.
Then I created my gent from two images and stuck him down and then added the frame which I had already painted. I found the quote on a printed sheet and felt it worked with the image.
Bring me sunshine… I used a piece of glossy cardstock I had coloured with alcohol inks in bright sunshine colours. Then I added the image of the girl in the vintage bathing suit, and the strip with the sentiment on.
After adhering them I outlined with a fine nib red sharpie and then added it to the card base which I had added black gesso to already.
Love these fun and different ways of creating the cards.
