Distress oxide ink

Bloomin good day postcard

Another day, another swap made! I have had quite a few to get through this month it seems!

This time is it is an anything goes postcard. After the fun of using the Art Deco stamps for the ATCoins I shared yesterday I kept to the same theme and used them on the postcard too.

I started with a panel of watercolour cardstock and created a smooshed distress oxide background using blues, lilacs and pinks. Once this was dry I stamped the main focal point in the Blueprint sketch and clear embossed it. I added a little colour to the flowers and then some wink of stella. Then I added lots of blue pearl accents dots to embellish.

I mounted it onto black card and then added a white panel to the back of that to strengthen the card and provide somewhere to add the address and note to the recipient.

Love how this came out too… the different colour makes such a difference to the stamped images too.

Happy crafting!
