Yesterday I shared one card made using the latest stamps from Creative Stamping magazine… well today I have another one.
I created the red background by pressing an ink pad onto it. This picked up some of the previous stamps used on the ink pad and created some lovely shading and texture.
I then stamped and embossed with glittery gold powder the leaf. Then once that was dry I tore round the panel and added versamark all over and clear heat embossed. This gave the whole panel a lovely texture.
Then I decided to add this to a large card. So took the wood patterned paper that I already had out and tore a strip to go across the card. I also tore a strip of wax paper and then used the sewing machine to adhere it.
I love the texture this creates.
I added the leaf panel with some foam underneath to add dimension and then stamped the sentiment.
Quite an earthy and masculine card.
Super happy with how it turned out.
