Waiting for the car MOT to be done so enjoying the sunshine and a pumpkin spice latte and thought why not write up a blog post (or two) for projects waiting to be blogged …
A few weeks ago I went back to the technique of using oxide inks onto glossy cardstock and created two anniversary cards for the parents stash.
For both I used the same colours, but in different amounts on each card so one was more pink and the other more blue. Both very pretty though.
Then I stamped the Happy from Happy Wishes onto both and then finished the sentiment in different ways on each.
Love the dramatic finish of these with the black for contrast along with the pretty glitter and the pretty colours in the background.
I’m adding this to the inky backgrounds challenge at Back to Basics and Beyond blog challenge as a different take on inky backgrounds.
Happy crafting!
Catherine
Both cards are just lovely with those beautiful colors of ink! I like the sparkle you added too with the silver backgrounds! NJ!
A super striking inky background. Thanks for sharing with us at Back to Basics and Beyond. Caz DT.
