So this month’s swap I’ve decided to contrast the UK weather with a bit of winter sun and gone with the theme of
totally tropical!
I mean November weather is just asking for a return to the beautiful balmy weather of the summer … so why not tropical?
So I decided to create a background of brushos and then stamp the palm tree from totally tropical on top and then heavily emboss it so it was all shiny.
Next I stamped and watercoloured the flamingos and fussy cut them out. Then added them and the shrink plastic sentiment to the coins to finish off. I then added green embossing to the edge as I thought it gave them a different look.
The finishing touch was to add the little gems as I thought these coins needed the sparkle.
Can’t wait to see how everyone else interprets this month’s prompt.
