Masks/Stencils

Pattern making with stamps

Today I have a card I made which uses stamps to create a patterned background.

I grabbed three bauble stamps and a sentiment from a magazine freebie set and using distress inks stamped them in lines across the card base.

Next I used my clarity brushes and a stencil to add colour in one area.

Then I created the topper. Again I used the brushes and distress ink to colour it, then stamped the sentiment and embossed the baubles.

I finished off with doodling the strings and some dots in the background and the sequins for added bling.

Happy crafting!

  1. Great muted colour on this card.
BTW I cannot access your last two posts. I did love the new use for the teatowel though.
