Advent cardmaking: tree

Happy advent!

After a few days off blogging I am kicking off my Christmas card making season well and truly now with my advent cardmaking series over on YouTube (which is why I’ve not had time to blog as I prepped for this!).

I have a different Christmas theme each day and today I have two “tree” cards to share.

I used the same images for both from Making Cards magazine and coloured them using promarkers. Then die cut them using the stitched shape framelits. I then grabbed some cards I had already made up using random papers. I did this ahead of time to try and get some cards ready for card toppers… it’s an easy way to get ahead on the Christmas crafting… and use up some of the many papers I have in my stash.

Both cards I finished with sequins, glossy accent type glue on the glasses and stars on the trees.
