Christmas gift for Lynn

Today I have a project I actually made several months ago but as it was made as a gift for a friend for Christmas I couldn’t share it till now!

So what is it? Well it is a canvas I made as part of a class I did with friends… and I enjoyed making it with Lynn in mind!

So what did we do… well I started with a board and covered it with papers for texture and pattern and then added gesso to take it back a little and blend it a little. Then started constructing a cluster of items … art parts and hessian and some elements from Artful Days boxes.

Then I started adding colour using Paperartsy fresco finish paints and then lots of stamping and texture making.

I also added treasure gold and embossing powder for added shine and texture.

I finished it off by then adding it to a larger board as a frame.

Hopefully Lynn likes it as much as I loved making it.
