Inchies and Twinchies, Penny Black, Spectrum noir pencils

12 days of Christmas twinchies

In December I organised a swap with the Artist Trading coin UK swap group with the theme of 12 days of Christmas. As per usual I made little thank you twinchies to add in with the swaps… and I kept to the same theme!

I used a piece of mixed media cardstock and roughly drew 2″ squares so I knew my images would work on twinchies and meant I could stamp multiple images at once using my stamp platform.

This meant I could easily stamp the 20 images…

Once they were dry (I actually left them overnight and coloured them the next day!) I used my Spectrum Noir pencils to colour the images.

It took me about 40 mins to colour them all which I didn’t think was too bad for 20 images.

I then cut them up into squares of 1.75″ … although some I trimmed down more dependent on the shape of the image.

Then I chose some Christmas patterned papers and cut them into 2″ squares and then added the little images.

I just love these cute Penny Black images especially when colouring them with pencils… so so cute!

So simple but effective twinchies for the swappers to receive.

Happy crafting!
