I had a bit of a cut and stick session and made up quite a lot of cards in one go… making cards magazine kits always do this to me… can never just make one card! This time went back to the floral set I used at the start of the month and this time teamed it with the papers it was designed to go with.
I did add something to each of them as a special touch. The one above I added colour to the flower and leaves using ink and a waterbrush which I thought tied in the colours I had added as mat layers.
This one I added the copper foil cardstock and some copper thread to soften the layers as there was a lot of dark on this card.
Difficult to photo but the dark layer under the flower topper panel was heat embossed to give it shine.
Like the previous card I added clear embossing on this panel and this gave it both texture and shine.
Inside the cards I added a strip of patterned paper to continue the fun to the inside. I borrowed this idea for Kristie Marcotte on YouTube. I watch a lot of her 6×6 pad tutorials… they are mesmerising!
Another one where I added the clear embossing to add shine and texture.
This final one I heat embossed the actual flower but couldn’t get a good photo to show the shine.
Hope you enjoyed this group of floral cards.
Happy crafting!
