I’ve been using shrink plastic in my twinchies and coins a lot recently and so when I saw this was the challenge for Back to Basics and Beyond challenge blog I was happy… and then puzzled on how I would incorporate shrink into the card.
I decided on the art deco stamps…
I stamped, cut out and coloured the rose image and then shrank them (original size on the left before shrinking).Then I set about making the rest of the card.
I made this panel and coloured it with promarkers. I mounted it onto cardstock with a doily to soften the harsh lines.
Then I added glossy accents on the flowers and the shrink plastic flowers on the top. I also used the shrink plastic for the sentiment.
