Alcohol Inks, Distress oxide ink

Art Deco ATCS

Hello! I am really struggling with getting back into regular crafting of late… and that hot weather really wasn’t helpful! But today I can finally get back to blogging at least the things I did make and never got round to sharing… so be prepared for a few days of blogging from me!

First up are these Art Deco ATCs made for the Artful ATCs swap group…

I used a background I made on glossy cardstock using distress oxides as I wanted a stained glass look for these. I then stamped the Creative Stamping magazine stamps onto it and cut them out.

The one on the left I then stamped again onto a different part of the background so that I could fussy cut the flowers out and later them up so they stood out more.

I did the same with the one on the right for the flower heads.

I also added some gold pen in a few places. Then I mounted them onto the different backgrounds. One I added to white which I then stamped the edge of and coloured it in red in keeping with the main image.

The other I mounted on a pics of yupo I had coloured with alcohol inks quite some time ago.

Love how both these came out. Hope the recipient did too!

Happy crafting!
