For Christmas I gave my parents and my auntie a calendar I had made with a postcard sized piece of art on each month… so today I am sharing their September artwork.
I wanted an atmospheric fairy page for September. I stamped Darcy trees which look like toadstools and then added a lavinia fairy to the top of one. Then created a moon with a circle mask and a sponge dauber. Then I coloured the toadstools with watercolour pencils and inked the whole piece with black soot distress ink before adding water splatters.
Finally I added Wink of Stella to the fairy so she shimmers.
Love these … not sure which colour scheme I prefer as one has more orange tones and the other pink tones.
