Artist Trading Coins, Distress oxide ink, Gilding flakes

This season artist trading coins

I am late again with my coins for the coin swap group I run over on Facebook this month. But better late than never. This month the theme is “this season” and I decided to go with an autumnal feel for my coins.

I started with a smooshed distress oxide background on the coins I had cut from mountboard.

Next, using the same colour inks, I add stamping of lots of different leaves around the edge.

Then I wanted to add some gilding flakes and so dug out the flitterglu and stamped another sprig stamp onto each coin and then added the gilding flakes.

I LOVE these gilding elements!

I finished the coins with an inked edge and a stamped sentiment.

So these are my coins for the swap.

Happy crafting!
