Today I have a lot of cards to share for the Craftyhazelnuts Christmas challenge blog as the theme was quick and easy… and I got carried away making many cards using a magazine set!
This was a set from Making Cards magazine last year that I hadn’t used and the toppers and papers were so easy to use as complete sets so very little needed adding. I used the leftover papers backs which were white to create the layers between papers and toppers.
I sat in front of the tv cutting the papers and toppers and deciding on designs of the layouts. Then I sat at my desk to assemble them and add them to card blanks.
Next I added some embellishments… card candi and some wink of stella on the words or the little decorative elements on the toppers.
Love how this set came out … and in all it took about 90 mins to make all 12 cards and very little in the way of supplies.
