DT: CHNC: Quick and easy

Hello! Wow it’s February already! How quickly did January disappear?

So the first design team project I have for you today (because yes there are two!) is the one for Craftyhazelnuts Christmas challenge blog where she said do something quick and easy… so I made two cards.

I started with the stamp platform onto which I stamped the bear and the sentiment at the same time… quick and easy!

Next I added colour… I used water colour pencils and a fine brush to blend the colour. But this took seconds to do as the image doesn’t need much! So quick and easy!

I could have ended the blog there but I decided these were just too quick and easy! So I also stamped a mask of the bear and fussy cut it out of two post it notes at once… yep you guessed it… quick and easy!

I then masked the bears and tore some paper for the snowy ground and used a circle stencil.

And added the sky behind the bear. On one I didn’t to a brilliant job in creating his shadow, but did better on the second with the moon.

I added some wink of Stella to the present and the snowline and then dotted a posca pen in the sky for the snow.

So the added step was a little trickier but it didn’t take very long for me to make these two cards at all. And if I had stamped more it could have been a real production line type of card … certainly a quick and for the most part easy card to produce.
