City Life ATC’s

Today I have two ATCs I made for the Artful ATCs group where the theme for February is City Life.

I used a couple of stamp sets I got from The Range and did an exercise in masking and stamping and then colouring with promarkers.

I chose the stamps because they remind me of Amsterdam. The girl on this landscape one came with the buildings stamp. The second girl on the portrait one comes with a different set with windmills…. perfect for a country life but not for city life so I used the buildings again but created more dimension with more Stamping and varying the grey colouring.

As I had kept the cards flat I decided to make them into postcard style pics so I framed them with a black pen and then gave them each two coats of embossing powder. This both strengthens the card and adds gloss and I think makes the colours richer.
