I decided to do another page in my journal to finish off the spread from the one I shared a few days ago… after all in the current circumstances it’s a good thing to share art and pretty things!

I decided to use similar colour scheme, but different mediums and used bits that were on my desk from other projects or gifts from various swaps.
The starting point was using stampin up ink pads to add colour to the background in a really loose way, just pressing them and the edges of the pads onto the background. I also used a few stamps to add some shape and variation in depth of colour (Happy Celebrations and Gummiapan).

I then decided to create a large panel using the leftover Art by Marlene paper and a doily. I added texture to this using a Badass artchick stamp and frantage embossing powder.
I found a stamped piece with similar colours to add along with a sticker and then the main sentiment panel which I had been gifted at some point and was certainly something I need to read at the moment. I added stamping on the edge of this and ink to add some framing. Then I added the fussy cut feather that was from a piece of wallpaper I had been gifted in a swap ages ago… I was saving it for the right moment… and it turned out it was this page!

Next I added lots of doodling round panels and the finishing touches of the embossed hearts. The wooden hearts I inked with distress oxide and then embossed with a pearl effect powder which gave them a beautiful finish.

Love how this page looks and how it complimented the other page.

Happy crafting!
