DT: Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challenge

Happy April fools day! Actually it’s so long since I’ve attempted to fool anyone for April fools… is it still a thing? Certainly the strange times we are living through may suggest that April Fools may be the last thing we need… or maybe we need some humour to keep us going?

Anyway, today I am sharing this month’s design team contribution for Craftyhazelnuts patterned paper challenge blog.

I have three cards I made using very old papers from a magazine… in fact so old I have no idea which magazine they were from.

They are very pretty papers and I used elements from the kit to do the whole card and then just added a stamp for the sentiment for each and some pearls.

Each item I inked up with Tattered rose distress ink to give them a worn look and add some cohesion. I also added a scrap of ribbon to the one above which happened to be sitting on my desk at the time!
