Happy Planner and the stamp stamp

I bought the stamp stamp from Carabelle a few months ago but never got round to using it… but now have discovered a way to use it.

I also bought the happy planner over a year ago but fell out of love of using it but decided to have another go… this time using the stamp stamp to add the fun!

Week 1 found me playing with my gelli plate and distress oxides to create the colourful panels and then the little backgrounds for the stamps.

Also used the Aall and create stamps and stencils for the circle patterns.

For the stamps I added a little contrast with the pink butterflies and some pink pen work. Then added the bold black text stamps and some black stencilled circles.

So the first picture shows the planner page before I added in my planning… partly as I decided to retro plan and added in the pen after the event so it was more of a diary than a planner.

Here is the after the pen version…

The next week I’ve gone for stamping in the background using the Gummiapan text stamp and stencilling the hexagon shape in keeping with the bee theme I chose.

I added the bees and the text stamp to the backgrounds made on glossy cardstock this time for the stamp image. Love how this looks.

So glad to have found a purpose to start using my stamp stamp and love using the planner again … even if it is in a weird back to front way!

Happy crafting!
