This week I’m back playing with the Merry Moose set for Stampin Up Sunday and this time the moose came out to play.
I started with a square of whisper white and stamped the solid moose image in Early Espresso on the square to make a patterned paper. Then I created another moose in soft suede.
Next I created the little border of presents using a strip of whisper white. I stamped them in Mossy Meadow and used my wink of Stella to move the ink a little and colour them in.
I decided to use the soft suede card to make the card blank and stamped the small tree image on that in the same ink so it creates a watermark effect.

I then layered up the panel, the moose and the border and added a little sentiment. Next I went to town flicking ink and had a change of heart on the moose focal element and decided to add more ink to him using a paintbrush and watered down ink. This gives him a painted appearance like he was watercoloured.

This was quite a simple card to make… would be even easier with the punch but mine unfortunately broke and so a replacement is on its way so had to fussy cut the moose instead!
Happy crafting!
