Artful Days Goodie Box, Artist Trading Coins, fresco finish paints, Paperartsy, Gilding flakes

Autumn Leaves artist trading coins

Today I have the coins I made for the swap I organise on Facebook. This month the theme is Autumn Leaves…

I had a hunt through the stash and found these fab metal leaves from an old Artful Days Goodie box.

I took three precut coins and gave them a coat of paint using mudsplat and autumn fire. I also stamped onto them using mudsplat to give a textured background.

Next I stamped in flitter glu the swirl from timeless textures and added gilding flakes. I love the effect this gives of a mottled metal.

Next I added the leaves with some linen thread. Then finished off with the sentiment stamped in fired brick distress ink.

As the leaves are so cool I didn’t think it needed much else.

Entering this into the autumn mood challenge at Challenge up your life and the anything mixed media challenge at Creative artiste challenge blog

Happy crafting!

  2. You created wonderful mixed media pieces. I really like the metal leaves on top. Thank you for joining us at Challenge up your life. Greetings, Anja
