Merry Moose, One Sheet Wonder OSW, Pinewood planks, Woodland

Merry Moose one sheet wonder

I’m back with another one sheet wonder, but this time I stuck to one stamp set to add the focal feature, whilst going mad with lots of die cuts!

I chose a piece of 12 x 12 I had in the stash … it had actually been folded and gifted to me so it required a bit of flattening out! It’s similar to one of the dsp packs in this year’s mini catalogue but it isn’t actually that!

I created a template to create some cards that I knew wanted to work on square cards rather than the usual rectangle cards.

There isn’t a measurement this but if you can see the little dots each square is half an inch… so number 3 is a 3×3 inch square!

Anyways… there are the 15 cards I made!

I mat and layered the panels with either some brown or cream card stock. I also used some cream laid paper for the background panels, most of which were 5×5 squares.

Some of the brown cardstock is coredinations so I also dug out the sanding block to give it some different textures.

The Merry Moose stamp set came out and I went for some of the detailed image, and some of the block image.

For the block image I went for some as they were using the Soft Suede, and some with kiss stamping using the Dictionary stamp to give the moose image some texture.

The detailed image I did some colouring with pencils… just four of them, but enough to last a few minutes of relaxing!

The final ones I used the coredinations cardstock to punch the image and then used my sanding block to distress it.

I created the sentiments from the same Merry Moose set. I just used the sentiments in the set and Early Espresso set to create panels and banners.

Next I dived into the die stash and cut lots of foliage and decorative elements and circles from cream, satin gold and gold glitter card.

Then it was time to stick them all together and get some embossing done too with old embossing folders and the lovely Woodland and Pinewood Planks.

I embellished the cards using either the rose gold metal discs or the pearls.

At the end of finishing off all of these I headed off for a shower to “deglitter” myself. I really don’t like glitter but these cards needed the special touch of a bit of shine! So I persisted and added it in!

So happy with these 15 cards and love the Merry Moose so much … such a versatile bundle and good price at £29.50 for the 17 stamps and moose punch! … And if this project makes you think you need this in your life just pop me an email catiecuddles@yahoo.co.uk

Happy crafting!
