I decided to play with Forever Fern stamps and the Forever Flourishing dies for the coins I made for this months UK Stampers Forum swap and as it’s a SU project it works for this week’s Stampin up Sunday post too!
I started with a piece of water colour card big enough to die cut three coins (2.5″ diameter) from. I added a mix of Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana on the background just to colour it. Then stamped and die cut the leaves from another piece of whisper white.
Next I added the die cuts to the part of the cardstock I knew would be part of the coins to create a background. This is easier to add them now and then die cut the circle using the Bigz die I use.

Next I added some rich raspberry ink to the remaining whisper white scraps and die cut the little leaves out. And on another scrap of whisper white stamped the Hello sentiment.
I then die cut the coins out and adhered them to some scrap thick cardboard I had already die cut as the coins to give them some strength. I like my coins to be quite sturdy.
I adhered the sprigs to the sentiment and then added them to the coins. I also edged each coin with the coastal cabana to frame it. On two of the coins I had done the same with the sentiment (I forgot on one!).

Next I added the sequins from the stash that work colourwise with the coins.
Love how these came out… and for regular followers of my blog you might work out that I was actually using some of the leaves I had stamped and die cut for a previously shared project … so it was nice to use up the leaves on this as the backgrounds.
Happy crafting!
