Distress oxide ink, Joy, Peace & Joy, Ribbons

Stampin Up Sunday: Peace and Joy tag

I thought I would make a seasonal tag for my UK Stampers Forum swap this month and grabbed for … yup my favourite stamp set of season… peace and joy.

I decided to emboss the Joy stamp in the background using white embossing and then played with the distress oxide inks in green to give a nice blended water colour background.

I then stamped and fussy cut out the leaves. I used the same distress oxide green colours to keep the colour scheme the same.

Next I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto grey cardstock and added that to the front of the tag with the leaves coming out of it. I used coloured staples to add an extra embellishment.

Then I did cut the Joy from the lime green cardstock twice and layered it up for dimension and added the white background die.

I finished off the tag with some green dotty ribbon from the stash and the gems.

Love how it ended up… fresh but festive!

Happy crafting!
