Another day, another set of coins. This time my coins are for the UK stampers forum swap.
I decided to use the Peace and Joy stamps to create backgrounds and then the Honey Bee stamp for the focal element.
I started with a base of Fresco finish paints in Jade and then stamped and embossed the Happy stamp all over the background. I roughed it up a little to add additional embossing.
I then splattered Amethyst paint, and painted some scrap with the same colour before die cutting the honeycomb.
I also stamped another of the happy sentiments onto the amethyst card.
Then stamped and die cut the bee and glued all the layers together. Then I added a gem onto each of them.
I love how the embossing works in the background with the mix of the Matt and shiny finishes.
