Todays blog post nearly didn’t happen… I went into the craft room, found a bomb had hit so decided to tidy up… if you enjoy such things the video is going to be on YouTube when I’ve edited it… I will pop the link in once it’s up and running!

Anyway after tidying up I wasn’t sure what to make… I did however spot on the bookcase some of the Whale of a Time bits and pieces and recided today was the day to make a turtle card for my friend.
I used a couple of different papers and then a stitched shape die for the circle. The turtle was fussy cut out of another piece of the patterned paper and then added some little die cuts from the stash (I have a little tin in which I keep leftover dies from other projects… perfect for little makes like this!).
I decided the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings would work well – my friend gifted me a lovely bottle of gin, hence the card.
I finished off with the gems which are beautiful and iridescent and work perfectly with the ocean feel!
So there you go… it turned out to be a quick project for todays Stampin Up Sunday… but I love it!
