Hi … how are we all?
Well it was another day of work today… and the first day of term for another odd term of home learning for the teenager. I sincerely hope the exams in 2022 still take into account the amount of time forced out of the classroom. But now is not the time to worry about these things and instead live each day as it comes!
Thought I would quickly also share with you my word of the year … I think it is appropriate given the current world situation.
SMILE.
Yes smile is my word of the year because I think it is an important and magical thing to do. Just think… you can change your mood by smiling, and that of others around you. Plus when smiling you don’t put food in your mouth so it might help with my plan to make healthier food choices! 🤣🤣🤣

Anyways… that’s my glimpse of life for now… onto the craft sharing… I have a project I worked on on Sunday… last chance to craft before work started and desk had to be converted back to work desk! And it was a project I uncovered during the big clear up that was a half planned one sheet wonder!
I must have cut this and started it either late October or early November but then got sidetracked with Christmas projects and covid!
So I decided to scrap the idea of one sheet wonder in the traditional sense and just use a few pieces to make a couple of cards… in fact these two cards…

I videoed the process (link) for those that fancy watching and listening to my waffling. I used the pierced blooms die cuts i had cut the other day and added those using the Melon Mambo for the flowers, rich razzleberry for the centres and Pretty Peacock for the leaves.
The sentiment I chose from the Lots of Love stamp set.

Finished off with the gems.
Simple and pretty cards… love the pop of pink against the coastal cabana card and paper. And plenty more of that paper left so no doubt there will be more Project half done posts to come!
Happy crafting!
